How Do I Prepare for a virtual Breathwork Session?

Wherever you’ll be attending a virtual session from, please make sure you’re able to have uninterrupted privacy. When we’re in an altered state of consciousness and activating our internal frequency, disruption can disturb the healing process and our deep connection. Additionally, you may want to alert anyone you share a home with that you will potentially be releasing energy with sound. Quite simply, you don’t want your friends or family to worry. This is why a small/additional pillow or a stuffy is recommended.

As with In-Person Sessions, you’ll want to make sure you create a cozy and supported nest to support you during your healing session. For example, some participants like to get cozy on the floor using pillows, a yoga mat, blankets, etc. Others find comfort laying on top of their bed, unrestricted by heavy blankets, etc. You’ll want to be able to move around a little.

In a virtual session, I will need to see you, physically, at least from the waist up. Please make sure your nest allows for the camera on your iPad, phone, or laptop to be aimed at you as if you were in any other Zoom session. You’ll just be laying down, eventually.

Here is the information from the In-Person Breathwork Session Preparation to help you visualize how to prepate.

Given this type of breathwork will likely facilitate the movement of energy within and from the body, you'll want to be as comfortable as possible. Don't hold back, as comfort is key.

Required:

𓆃 A nest for support: a yoga mat, blankets, or mattress/bed to lay on

𓆃 Water bottle

𓆃 Pillow (throw or otherwise, even a kid's stuffy) for potentially releasing energy with sound.

𓆃 Use it to support your head until you need it

𓆃 Camera aimed correctly so I can see how you’re breathing

Optional:

𓆃 A blanket for warmth and security (temperatures are likely to fluctuate during session, so it is a great idea to think “layers”)

𓆃 Crystals or palm rocks

𓆃 Eye Mask

𓆃 A family heirloom that brings you comfort

𓆃 Anything else that connects you to "home"

𓆃 If you have any questions about preparing for a session please connect with me.

𓆃 Chapstick or lip moisturizer

𓆃 A journal and pen for after the session to record any visions, downloads, etc., so you can remember them clearly

A Little More:

Try to arrive to session, whether in-person or virtual, in a fasting state or with very little food on board. As a general rule of thumb, try to refrain from eating 45-60 minutes before session begins. We breathe deeply into our bellies and lungs, so being full from a big meal prior to session may prove to be difficult during practice. Feel free to have a snack nearby after we conclude.

𓆃 Please Note: As with all sacred circles, the privacy of all participants is held and treated as sacred.
